Unique stand up paddleboard (SUP) and yoga experience in two scenic locations:
Slocan Lake, BC in the West Kootenays offers quiet, crystal clear waters with breathtaking views of the Selkirk Mountains and Valhalla Wilderness Park.
Columbia River, BC in the East Kootenays offers peaceful meandering waters through a spectacular valley with the Rocky Mountains to the east and The Purcells to the west.

Location: New Denver, BC
Lodging: The Cottage, a timber frame guesthouse, close to the shores of Slocan Lake.
Activities: Energizing morning yoga flow classes. Exploring and paddling the crystal clear waters of Slocan Lake to secluded pebble beaches and waterfalls. You can expect to see eagles and osprey fishing.
Level: Beginner/Intermediate (maximum 5 people).
$385 per person based on 5 guests

'Being in nature
is pure bliss to me'
Jill Parry grew up in Calgary and spent the summers with her family windsurfing on Lake Windermere and canoeing the Columbia Wetlands. Jill follows her passion for water and the outdoors with her husband Rob, either paddle boarding the pristine waters of Slocan Lake or the spectacular channels of the Columbia River in her free time. When not on the water, she works as a supervisor for Parks Canada at the Radium Hot Springs Pools. For more than 20 years, Jill owned and instructed for ‘Kutenai Aquatics’ a water fitness swimming skills company at the Radium pools.
In 2012, Jill discovered her love for SUP and now inspires others to paddle. In the spring of 2015, she obtained her certification as an ‘Advanced SUP Paddle Canada instructor’. In the spring of 2018, Jill completed the Yoga Alliance RYS 200 hours instructor course in the Baja, Mexico. She begins each day with yoga, making time to listen to her body/spirit and clear her mind. Jill feels yoga keeps her mentally and physically strong on and off the water.
During the winter months, Jill enjoys cross-country skiing with her husband Rob and dreams of SUP!
